A maximum of one loan is available per eligible property and homeowner.
Eligibility
All loan applicants
There are some eligibility requirements to meet before applying for the loan:
- You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or non-permanent resident who is legally authorized to work in Canada
- You must own the home and it must be your primary residence
- You have a pre-retrofit evaluation and have not yet had a post-retrofit evaluation
- Your pre-retrofit evaluation was completed on or after April 1, 2020
- You have not started the retrofits for which you are seeking a loan
- You have a good credit history and are not in:
- a consumer proposal
- an orderly payment of debt program
- a bankruptcy or equivalent insolvency proceeding
As part of the application process, borrowers will be assessed to confirm their ability to repay the loan alongside their other financial obligations. Applicants will be asked to provide income documents for this review. Total monthly housing costs and other debt payments should not exceed 44% of gross monthly income.

This is the second time using Greenfox Windows & Doors. The first time we had our front door and side windows replaced. That was 7 years ago. We most recently had a large window pane replaced. The service was excellent for my estimate. He gave me several options. We went with replacement of the cracked glass only. They came out and did an amazing job on installation. Today, they did a follow up visit to make sure the install went well and it looks good. There is a slight cloudiness with the argon. I was told that should clear up in a few weeks. If not to call and they will take care of it. There is a 30 year warranty on the window which is excellent! I am very pleased once again with Greenfox!

We were very impressed with the service, professionalism and product from GreenFox. The new door arrived ahead of schedule and was installed perfectly. They even did a follow up inspection a few weeks later!
We’ve been losing heat from our ugly old door for years and it’s been amazing to refresh the front entry.
Plus the designs were beautiful and I love the glass option I chose. We got to choose from a ton of colours for no extra cost as well. Full marks!

The window installers were fantastic! They arrived on time, worked extremely hard all day, and the final result is flawless. The windows are beautifully installed and look amazing—I’m very impressed with the quality of their work. Highly recommend!

From our first decision to contact GreenFox to our final inspection, the process was smooth & professional.
Our quote was booked with Josh, who was thorough in his explanation of the products & process. Due to costs, he gave us options in placing our order. We decided to have the house completed in three phases (over three years).
For the install, Sergey & Andre did a fantastic job! I work from home & did not have any issues with excessive noise or mess throughout the day while they were working.
And today I met Devon for our final inspection, who was polite & friendly. He ensured I did not have any questions or concerns before he left.
The windows themselves are beautiful & the finishing trim work is excellent. There was great attention to detail at every step.
All in all it was a great decision & experience working with GreenFox : ) We're looking forward to having them come out again next year!

Our second stage of install was completed last week - a three part picture window & patio slider door (pictures added).
James was our project manager this year. He was helpful & professional. In waiting a year, the prices did increase slightly - which was expected. However, James was able to apply extra discounts to get the price as close to the original quote as possible.
We received an email update outlining an estimated time frame for our window production, which ended up being about a month before the install.
The day of the install went very smooth. Milen & his partner were quick & clean, laying drop cloths & vacuuming any mess when finished. As before, this team did an excellent job & the trim work is a perfect match to last year - you cannot tell the work was completed by two different crews.
We continue to be impressed by GreenFox & look forward to finishing our project next year.
